During Lockdown tickets are for 45 min intervals, please arrive on the hour you are booked for.
Each interval will have an animal talk take place (weather permitting), please note that as per goverment guidelines no animal handling will take place.

Thank you for your support throughout lockdown and we cannot wait to welcome you back to Cedars Nature Centre.

Created as a place where anyone from any background or ability can learn about the natural world.

Familiar favourites such as meerkats and owls are just some of the animals found here alongside the strange more unusual creatures such as zorilla and tenrecs, there is lots to discover.

Back in 2016 Stuart Short and Nick Spellman took over pets corner from Broxbourne council and created Cedars Nature Centre.

It took over a year to complete but in August 2017 Cedars Nature Centre opened to the public and we have loved every day since!

We run daily talks every 45 mins including our popular meerkat feed and skunk meet and greet!
