What are Cedars Nature Centre’s opening times?

 

Cedars Nature Centre is open every day from 10am–5pm during the summer season (April–October).

These hours apply to all visitors, including families, schools, and groups

In winter, Cedars Nature Centre is open every day from 10am-3pm (November-March).

How much is the entrance fee?

 

Admission prices are:

• Adults: £2.40

• Children: £2.40

• Under 2s: Free

• Carers with a paying SEN visitor: Free​

 

All entry tickets are purchased on arrival and cannot be prebooked.

What daily animal talks and feeds can visitors attend?

 

Cedars Nature Centre offers a full schedule of interactive animal talks and feeds throughout the day:

• 10:45 – Meerkat Feed & Talk

• 11:30 – Fish Feed & Talk

• 12:15 – Discovery Table

• 1:00 – Ferret Meet & Greet

• 1:45 – Rat Meet & Greet

• 2:30 – Discovery Table

• 3:15 – Kookaburra Feed

• 4:00 – Meerkat Feed & Talk

These sessions are included with standard admission.

Are dogs allowed inside the zoo?

 

Only assistance dogs are permitted within Cedars Nature Centre. Unfortunately pet dogs are not allowed inside the Nature Centre.

Does Cedars Nature Centre have its own car park?

 

Cedars Nature Centre does not have a dedicated car park, but visitors can use the Cedars Park car park.

Parking is free, though the park can be busy during peak times. Alternative paid parking is available at Theobalds Grove Station (Pay & Display).

Visitors are asked not to park at Cheshunt Football Club or block any gates or residential access.

How do I get to Cedars Nature Centre by public transport?

 

Cedars Nature Centre is a 5‑minute walk from Theobalds Grove train station.

When exiting the station:

Turn left and walk up Theobalds Lane

Cedars Park will be on your left after approximately 5 minutes.

Follow the directional signs inside the park to reach the entrance.
